Charlotte Russe is a clothing retailer offering access to major fashion trends at value-oriented prices. The mall-based chain has gone from 35 stores in Southern California to 500+ stores across the United States and Puerto Rico.
Objective
Charlotte Russe takes the same fast-moving attitude to web technology as they do to fashion. The company was not really sure that tablet was a priority in early 2014. But after Moovweb brought in 64labs to discuss the potential revenue increase associated with small improvements in tablet conversions, Charlotte’s forward-thinking ecommerce team decided it was time to do something quickly.
Solution
Using Moovweb technology, 64labs produced a more touch friendly interface for Charlotte Russe, and it was delivered in just two weeks. 64labs and Charlotte have subsequently fine-tuned the experience and rigorously tested tablet-site performance against desktop to generate numerous insights into user behavior. As a result, Charlotte followed up with a series of A/B tests to gain actionable insight on what worked and didn’t work for Charlotte customers.
