Kirkland's is a well-known and much-loved home goods retail chain based in Nashville, TN, and currently operates 315 stores in 35 states. The brand enjoys remarkable levels of loyalty among customers, and believes strongly that great style can be attained at a great price.
Objective
After several years working with 64Labs and Moovweb on tablet and mobile commerce implementations, Kirklands felt that competitive pressures required them to take a big leap forward in how they delivered mobile. They identified site speed as a major competitive factor in the future and talked to 64Labs about how they might exploit the emerging Moovweb PWA platform to their advantage.
Solution
Kirkland’s became 64Labs first Moovweb PWA client in October 2018. Kirklands initially went PWA up to checkout and implemented AMP pages with a roadmap for the remainder of the site. Kirkland’s is now among the fastest sites in their retail segment and continue to work with 64Labs on ways to drive home their current market-leading web performance.
