Vistaprint is one of the world’s leading e-commerce brands that produces physical and digital marketing products for small and micro businesses. It was one of the first businesses to offer its customers the capabilities of desktop publishing through the internet when it first launched in 1999. Vistaprint is wholly owned by Cimpress, a Dutch conglomerate.

Vistaprint had a specific problem around the holidays. Their in-house studio for the creation of Christmas cards simply didn’t work on mobile and there was skepticism by a strong internal team that a rapid Moovweb project could solve this headache. In fact the company had never used an external vendor for anything.

64Labs was able to quickly demonstrate with a working prototype how the technology could be used to deal with the issue and a solution was implemented in time for the busiest period of the year. From there Vistaprint began to use Moovweb’s technology to solve multiple problems that an internal team focused on a major platform rebuild simply didn’t have bandwidth to deal with. Moovweb powers multiple areas of the site and has been used as Vistaprint’s A-B testing tool for mobile and as a prototyping platform for potential PWAs. In 2016 Vistaprint was named the Internet 100s fastest mobile site.
