See's Candies is an American manufacturer and distributor of candy, particularly chocolates. They are part of Berkshire Hathaway's portfolio and have traditionally been on the table at the famous Berkshire Hathaway meetings in front of Warren Buffett, who obviously likes them a lot, describing See's as "the prototype of a dream business". And a dream client.

See's had an older SiteGenesis site maintained by a small dedicated internal team of SFCC specialists. Like many they had hesitated to invest in SFRA and in 2024 composable seemed to offer an opportunity to leapfrog that upgrade and adopt a more modern more maintainable and extensible architecture. See's wanted performance improvements and a chance to move faster to innovate.

Full composable SFCC with Amplience newly integrated as a headless CMS. The project lasted six months and after a slower uptick than normal, started to perform at the usual levels on bounce and conversion after three months. See's engaged 64labs to continue the momentum of the site and push composable into elements of See's web presence.
