Sweaty Betty is a fast growing UK activewear and lifestyle brand for women famous for their hugely popular leggings. They were brought into the Wolverine family of brands in 2021.
Objective
Sweaty Betty needed to continue a growth pathway and had focused on improved site performance and growth of their presence in the US as two major potential drivers. They proposed a project to roll out PWA Kit in the US market for peak followed by a global rollout over the six months afterwards. They wanted a PWA expert to build in the US but wanted expertise transferred to their SFCC partner Tryzens for a global rollout.
Solution
64labs won a competitive bid with Tryzens for the US site. The build involved reimplementing Amplience heedlessly, integrating Dynamic Yield and training key Tryzens personnel in the new SFCC PWA architecture. The site was launched as an A-B test into peak in the US and the test was ended early with traffic switched 90% to the PWA when it became clear that PWA was winning easily. The project delivered an ROI before the A-B test was scheduled to conclude.
